CHALLENGE:
Value Engineering: Originally the fixture was to be made with 25 port canopies and 2W short frosted pendants. The project was going over-budget. As such the Rep asked what we could do to keep the aesthetic and reduce cost.
THE SOLUTION:
To reduce cost, we reduced the overall fixture size and centered it between recessed downlights. We reduced the total number of pendants and incorporated 3in Frosted Acrylic Globes to better fill the space with a reduced number of pendants. Pendants also incorporated 3W LEDs to make up for lost light output from the original design.
